Who is this?

The Disciplined Trader — @xtdtcom

Retail trader and software developer. Trading US stocks as a part-time pursuit alongside a full-time career. No professional financial credentials — just a disciplined, process-driven approach to the market and a desire to improve publicly.

Where to Find Me

All trade activity is posted in real time on @xtdtcom on X. That is the primary channel for trade alerts and market commentary.

What is this portal?

A Transparent Stock Model Portfolio

This portal tracks a real-money model portfolio of US stocks. Every position — open and closed — is recorded here with entry price, exit price, date, and outcome. Nothing is hidden, nothing is cherry-picked.

Live Performance Tracking

The portfolio started with $25,000 in capital. Performance is tracked against the S&P 500 as a benchmark. Returns are calculated transparently — see How Trades Are Tracked for the full methodology.

A Decision Journal

More than just a trade log — this is a record of decisions. Why a stock was bought, what would make it a sell, and honest post-mortems when things go wrong. The goal is to show process, not just results.

What this is NOT

Not Financial Advice

Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind. All content is for educational and informational purposes only.

Not a Signal Service

I do not sell trade signals, subscriptions, alerts, or any paid service. This portfolio is shared publicly for transparency and learning — not as a paid product.

Not Guaranteed Returns

Past performance does not guarantee future results. Every position carries risk of loss, including loss of the entire amount invested. The model portfolio has had losing trades and will have more.

Not Personalized Advice

My trades reflect my own risk tolerance, time horizon, and financial situation. Your situation is different. What works for my portfolio may not be appropriate for yours. Always do your own research.

Why share publicly?

To Grow as a Trader

Sharing publicly creates accountability. When you know your decisions are visible, you are less likely to break your rules. This portal forces discipline on me as much as it shares it with others.

To Spread Practical Knowledge

Most trading education is generic. Real transparency — showing actual positions, actual mistakes, and actual results — is rare. My eventual goal is to build a resource that helps other retail traders develop a process-driven approach.
